So. We booked at the end of December for the end of August, then plans changed and at the end of January with penalties of 10,000 rubles we rebooked for 30.06 on 15n. During this period, prices did not change, but from mid-February they increased, then in April the prices for this hotel increased. Why AMARA sialight? Just because the budget for the tour was 200,000 rubles (+-) for 2+1+infants and I wanted to relax for two weeks, on the Antalya coast hotels of a lesser standard cost that much for about 11 nights, and those that we are used to are already significantly more expensive, and We didn’t want the heat, since we usually vacation in early September, so when we saw a satisfactory price for a hotel on the Aegean coast, we decided that this was a good option, since the reviews were normal, the description suited us, the new place would be interesting in any case and a plus if the hotel was not will live up to expectations.
What I didn’t really like right away was that when I wrote to the hotel to clarify things, the feedback was terrible, they responded every other time and with long delays.
Well, the day of departure has arrived!
Operator Sunmar. Initially the flight was Sheremetyevo - Bodrum morning - evening. Then they moved it to the next morning.
The flight went well. We didn’t register in advance; on the spot we asked for seats for passengers with an infant (but that’s a different story), and in the end we were seated in the first cabin. It is no different from the second and third ones, just in the nose of the plane. The plane was a Boeing 757, 3-3, there were no empty seats. I don’t see any point in paying extra for these places.
Departure without delay at 3.30. Milas airport is not big, control and luggage are fast, we ordered an individual transfer - who needs contacts, I’ll share, we really liked it. Mercedes Sprinter (for two families) $97. Mercedes Vito is 75 dollars (it has Wi-Fi), they sell water, cola, beer. We approached the operator, warned that we were on our own, we were given a booklet with a meeting time for the next day, which it is better to come to, since the guide is not on site, he leaves a telephone number for contact.
We drove for 2 hours with a stop for the toilet and coffee (20 minutes).
We were at the hotel at 10.00.
We went to the reception, gave us our passports, they immediately put on bracelets for us, and assigned a person who showed us where to have a snack and where to change clothes. Russian-speaking employees are present almost every day, plus a Russian-speaking employee works in shifts at the Gestrlation desk.
They said to wait until 12, but we asked for rooms nearby, they said that if on the same floor - no problem, if right now - then 35 euros per family, if two are nearby, then until 13-14.
We decided to go have a snack, then changed clothes at the spa and went to see the hotel; the children immediately ran to swim. So time passed - first they moved in friends, then us.
Numbers
A lot has been written about this - the photos speak for themselves. In principle, this is one of the reasons to choose this hotel, since this room is very comfortable for four people. We had the right side of the hotel and the sun was there in the afternoon. Although the hotel is new, the rooms have a decent appearance, but cosmetics are already required in some places. Condensation was dripping from the air conditioner. If you sleep with the door open, then in the morning they will play loud prayers. We asked for a baby cot - in this hotel it's a playpen. The baby slept peacefully, even comfortably, in it; the air conditioner did not reach her.
They removed the coffee machines - it looks funny - apparently Amara’s swing doesn’t support the Sealight network!
Soap snouts are minimally represented, we didn’t even ask for the rest, I don’t think they have it.
Slippers in the closet, no bathrobes, perhaps upon request, I don’t know.
This year we added rooms of a lower category on each floor, they don’t even have a balcony, but our operators did not sell such rooms, so keep that in mind. They offer to move in if you want to extend your room.
The view from the room is very nice! The balcony is large, it's a pleasure to sit at night.
The minibar was replenished regularly. The beer in the Tuborg minibar and in general in the hotel is delicious beer (my husband said, I don’t drink it and don’t understand it accordingly). Cleaning is normal, daily.
Territory.
She's really small. We knew, we were ready, even rather we were glad that this time we would be in a small hotel, since it would be easier to control the elder, but we did not expect that there would be so many people in this area. Apparently the hotel didn’t expect it either, and it was clear that they couldn’t cope with such a flow of tourists, that as a result, more sun loungers were urgently added to the site of the volleyball court, and the court was moved outside the hotel. The restaurant placed a row of tables outside on the lawn on the path to the children's playground and what killed me was in the foyer, in front of the entrance to the restaurant.
Otherwise, I liked everything - it’s very compact, you don’t need to walk for a long time, it was just right for us with a stroller! The baby slept twice a day, both outside in a stroller - the first nap we swam in the open part of the spa pool, the second - in the shade on the playground. Quiet and not hot. Since the hotel is new, there is no shadow, but this can be seen from the photo. I really liked it on the lawn - comfortable large awnings.
Beach.
The beach area is not large, the sun loungers are close to each other, there is little shade, as the umbrellas are small and full of holes.
The sea was 21-22 degrees for the first days - this is tough for us. They say it was warmer, but a strong wind came and something went wrong. The weather was very comfortable - 30-33-36 maximum, nights 22 degrees. By the middle of the holiday the sea had warmed up and I started swimming. We initially expected that the shallow sea would warm up faster - and it did. What is small is written in every review - it’s a plus for us. The children splashed on their own, I didn’t need depth, my husband went to the buoys, where the water is cooler and clearer. They didn't wear slippers. Between the sun loungers there is a table and a garbage jug, which is emptied regularly. There is no smoking area, so children and non-smokers breathe. We went to the beach in the afternoon; it was nice to stay until the last minute, enjoying the silence and warm sea.
The first days, my husband took a seat before breakfast, because at 10.00 it was already problematic. In the middle of the holiday there were fewer people and there were no problems at all.

Indoor warm
There is one big open one, so if someone does something there, they close it for processing and everyone runs into the sea! The water park is great for such a small hotel. The purple slide was not working. It's also a great area for kids. There is no maintenance in the pool areas or on the lawns. IN last year The waiters rode on roller skates.
Restaurant.
Large, clean, the waiters only have time to take away the plates, with so many vacationers they approached us once and sometimes they came and brought me a chair for the baby. And so complete self-service. There were queues, sometimes it was annoying, but at the end of the holiday they decreased. I didn’t like that there was no proper coffee in the restaurant and no box of different teas; I had to take a bag of green tea from my room.
Nutrition.
We really enjoyed it. I love meat - there was a lot of it, always lula or cutlets, stewed, baked, poultry. Fish is grilled every day and stewed sometimes. Once a week fish day - transfer of products, honestly. Grilled vegetables. The sweet table is not bad.
Vegetables and fruits are good, ripe, without stains.
On the children's table there are boiled vegetables and chicken, a microwave, one blender - always dirty, maybe you need to ask for it to be washed, I don't know, we ate cans. Of course, there is no food for children, but the hotel is not of the same level, so it’s normal.
We went to ala carte restaurants. They work daily, according to a schedule, you can find it at the guest relations desk, and sign up there at 14.00. Usually there are queues, small, sometimes large. I liked it because it’s convenient to eat - quiet, pleasant, service, variety.
In Italian we celebrated a friend's birthday with a cake from the hotel. If you understand that you are not in Italy, then it’s tolerable. The pizza is delicious.
The rest are not bad either. We went to the wok again.
From 12.00 snacks start working - gozleme, crumbled potatoes, some bagels, ice cream. Sometimes they fry something, once they did corn. Cart with cold fruits. This is until 16.00. and another hour at the pool bar with burgers, pide, nuggets with fries and salads. I didn’t really like all this, it was hastily done. I couldn't tear myself away from gözleme, tastier than flatbreads What we haven't eaten at this hotel yet! On Sundays for some reason only gözleme works and another woman does it - it sucks. Moreover, it works on blanks, but bakes poorly.
Bars.
Several bars, we usually went to the Mate bar, it was quiet there, we sat outside until 23.00. They left a tip and the service was very good. Drinks depending on your luck. The cola whiskey is normal, the coffee is from a coffee machine, but Baileys is not always real - sometimes it’s just a local cream liqueur, sometimes they mix it 50/50, sometimes they pour the real thing, it’s not clear.
After 23.00 you can go to the bar on the floor above, there is live music and it is noisy. When there are a lot of people, they also bully. We didn't go to the disco this time. There is a hookah bar on the street. There is also a cafe with waffles, sweets and ice cream. Watch carefully when making coffee - they can make it from the machine.
I didn't like the cocktails at all!
Animation.
We were not interested in animation, my husband played volleyball a couple of times, I would have gone to bocha - but it was in the very hot sun, so was darts, and they didn’t take our 9-year-old son. There are Russian-speaking animators. Every day there is a pool game. Water aerobics attracts a lot of people. Step, Zumba. gymnastics - everything is also in the sun, in front of everyone - I’m already unaccustomed to this. In recent hotels this was either in the hall or in some remote areas of the hotel.
The evening shows are active, the program seemed to me to be scheduled for a week. Once a week there is a foam disco in the pool - I don’t understand this event.
We never went, as the older children were playing football on the field in front of the hotel. They paid for the lighting. The mini disco attracted a large children's party. This time I won’t say anything about children’s animation, since the older ones are no longer interested, there are no teen clubs in the hotel, there is only a room for little ones. For ours there is a paid room with machines and a console.
The children's playground at the hotel is trash! Such wretchedness. In the evening it’s still nothing, but in the daytime it’s still a picture! Glasses and plates stand there for more than one day.
The hotel hosts many locals, Romanians, Poles, Ukraine, Belarusians, Russians, and French. Most are friendly, adequate vacationers. And in principle, everyone around was friendly.
Location
from the city center about 10 minutes by taxi - it’s 6 dollars. It takes 5 minutes to get to the shopping center for 5 dollars. We traveled by taxi with the person who organized the transfer for us. You can also go on excursions with him. There is a Carenfor store next to the hotel. It has everything you need - I bought fruit puree for the baby there, along with vegetables, of course it’s better to take jars with you. Diapers too, I became allergic to the local ones, although they changed different ones at home. We bought goat milk ice cream for our son (he has a cow allergy), also inflatable mattresses, swimming pools, spatulas, shampoos - everything is there. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the pharmacy; it’s not an option with a stroller. we went to the city for medicine. There is nothing else around the hotel.
Return flight.
As a result, the flight from 8.00 was moved first to 15.00, then to 21.00. In the evening we received a note that they would pick us up at 10.00, which we were very happy about. We decided to go back by shared transfer, as we checked with the guide that our hotel was the last one. Unfortunately, we found out that they would pick us up after lunch after we checked in and after sitting for 40 minutes waiting for the bus, after calling the guide. As a result, we had to change clothes and hang out on the territory. But it's better than hanging around at the airport. We swam some more, had lunch, changed clothes and went. Transfer time back - 2.5 hours. We weren't driving fast, the bus was big, the stop was for 15-20 minutes, no one got seasick.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay! We got almost what we expected, except for so many people on square meter territories. Of course, it’s a shame that the level of the hotel is falling, this can be guessed from reviews over the past years and from reviews of repeats. I hope that the management will somehow cope with this problem for the better. There is no nostalgia for the hotel, we would return only because of the price and lack of alternatives, like this time, because in July we didn’t want to fry in the Mediterranean, the same Spain, Cyprus with water parks, beach equipment would cost at least 250+. I really liked the climate, so in the future we would go to another hotel on this coast.
