First, the disadvantages, and there are many of them: - as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were put in a room where a fence was being repaired outside, the sounds of a saw, a hammer drill and a hammer blew our minds even with a closed balcony, so we immediately went to the reception to change the room. They did it at the reception incredibly surprised and concerned about such inconveniences and agreed to move us. They showed us the room where they were going to move us and there was a terrible smell of some strange Indian spices mixed with curry and the taste of Vegemite, we told the girl who brought us to the viewing about this on the spot, she also looked highly concerned and admitted the presence of the above-mentioned problem, but happily She informed us that this can be easily solved and now a team of cleaners will rush in with an air purifier, pick up the phone in the room, call the reception and.... No one picks up the phone. The girl, feeling a little ashamed of the hotel’s 5* status, suggested that we return to the reception so that we could approve the move with the manager. The manager said that they would need a couple of minutes to clear the air and that we should wait in the previous room for a little while while they did this. We waited for more than an hour, no one came for us or our suitcases. We called the reception, they didn’t know anything about our move, but after 5 minutes of clarification they said that in 15 minutes they would come for us and we were going to a new room. The treasured time passes but no one is there. We go with our suitcases to the reception again and ask how long we still need to wait, where we are told that the room is ready and we can already move there. We go into a new room, and the smell is the same, only mixed with a pine-flavored toilet freshener. We went into the bathroom, looked into it, and there was a huge greasy dark hair on the floor of the bathroom along with stains of drips of an incomprehensible consistency, we immediately drew the attention of the guy who showed us to the room to this, he tried to remove this hair with his finger, but unfortunately he couldn’t do it It worked out completely, we said thank you and asked to leave us. We open the locker to put on hotel slippers and it turns out that they are worn and dirty. My wife, unable to bear it, went to the reception with these slippers and asked to exchange them for new ones, luckily at the end of the day they brought them to us, even three pairs. - on the beach near the sea, the sun loungers are dead, lying on them is very unpleasant because the iron ribs of the sun lounger cut into the back, I had to walk along the beach to look for more or less normal mattresses and change them - near the pool the situation is the same, the mattresses are trashed, torn and foam rubber is coming out of them - at 19:00, as in a pioneer camp, all the mattresses on the sun loungers are removed and the pool dies, the jacuzzi and waterfalls are turned off, but luckily they leave the lighting on. Naturally, there are no towels after 19:00 either - life on the pool and beach begins slowly after 07:00 in the morning, so if you like to watch the sunrise in a comfortable environment on the beach, this will not work due to the fact that all the sunbeds are bare to the bones - in general the beach is 3 plus, local grandparents walk around selling robes, handbags, scarves, water attraction services, they don’t shout about it, but quietly come up and whisper what you can buy from them - the sea, well, consider it not there, low tides are sometimes 300 meters away , but even if it’s not there, there’s a lot of garbage in the water itself, plastic bags, candy bar wrappers, and small boats moored right next to them that carry a strong smell of fuel, so when you come to Nusa Dua you don’t expect paradise beach- a restaurant, although this is said loudly - the dining room where breakfasts are held is, of course, a separate topic with its own pearls. The atmosphere itself is pleasant, in the courtyard there are tables where dozens of squirrels frolic in the trees, there is quite a lot of space, but this immediately has a minus since the waiters very rarely go out into the courtyard and wait for water (and it is only poured from the waiters’ personal kettles) or coffee very problematic. In the main hall the movement is a little more active. At 09:00 in the morning there are quite a lot of people, and the waiters are working at their maximum capacity. The food is very mediocre, nothing changed at all during the 6 nights of our stay, except that the nuts were cashews once and then the rest of the days they were walnuts or some kind of almond shavings. Meat dishes (sausages, sausage, shank type) are not tasty. Hard cheese There are already two types to choose from (the hotel chain is French!!!) And they haven’t changed either, but the problem is that this is the cheapest cheese, the taste of which is a little better than the cheapest cheese from the grocery store. Fruits are limp, for example passion fruit is generally tasteless and white inside. The pineapple is dry, the bananas are blackened over which midges fly (and not only over them). Papaya has always been good. There were no vegetables, cherry tomatoes first had to be driven away by midges, and then chosen to be mold-free (it would be better if there was blue cheese). The food selection wasn't particularly impressive. There is variety for the Chinese, where there was a separate pavilion with food for them, but we are not particularly knowledgeable about these foods, so there was no particular desire to remove the examination. The pastries are not bad, I recommend the Berliner, which is very tasty. The yoghurts are not bad. One of the advantages is fresh juice, I put the necessary fruits in a basket and they will make fresh juice (but the selection of fruits itself is small), there is a very long queue at the counter where it is made as it is done by one person. - the most surprising thing was when I ate eggs and naturally the knife and fork were in it, I was like cultured person a little trained in etiquette, he folded the cutlery in a cross on the plate and left to get some pastries; instead of giving me new cutlery, the waitress removed the plate and left the fork and knife dirty on the table.
