Once you are in the cryo-bay (or any other room) First of all, try to check all objects and objects that “have eyes”(with a special marker). These items can greatly help during the passage, and by interacting with these items you can activate various quests, both story and secondary.

Having moved into the ark you need to talk to an engineer named Lancer to get important information from him about what happened and what you should do now.

If clashes with opponents often end in defeat or victory is given with great difficulty, then you you should visit the ark location. Here you need to find useful items that will help increase your combat power. In addition, here you can receive a quest task, by completing which you will also increase the strength and skill of your character.

If you're stuck on textures, then use the command “/unstuck”, which must be entered in the chat. After this, you will move to the nearest respawn point.

Armor characteristics are upgraded only when the damage is reduced by less than 99%.

For that, to use an item or put it on the hero (if possible), you need to: open the inventory, right-click on the item icon, and then select “USE” in the menu that appears.

For that, to shoot a weapon, you will need ammo, which can be found in special boxes. The location of these boxes is marked on the map with a special marker.

Don't forget to distribute your stat points. Each time the main character's level increases by one unit, he receives stat points. It is through these points that the main character’s skills are upgraded. The “Fortitude” characteristic is responsible for survival in the initial stages of the game.

Story missions, are mainly taken from NPCs, for this you need to find him and talk to him.

Additional tasks are not always marked on the map. They can be obtained both from NPCs and through “eyes”. At the same time, it will be clear from the description and/or dialogues what is required of you and what needs to be done.

Research assignments are not marked in any way on the global map and are scattered throughout the game world in the form of objects or “eyes”. At the same time, the instructions for the quest will not tell you what to do or who to talk to. You can understand what needs to be done on a task of this type only by reading the description of the item found, or by reading the character’s thoughts.

Visiting the Lairs, you can get valuable rewards and items. But, as you yourself understand, these treasures are seriously guarded by local monsters. Thus, you have to destroy everyone who gets in your way.

Nests have 5 stages of development. The higher the stage at which you destroy the Nest, the more valuable the reward will be.

During a battle with elite monsters, basic combat tactics may be ineffective. In this case, it is recommended to show cunning, ingenuity and intelligence.

Don't underestimate small monsters. The fact is that small monsters very often come to the aid of large ones, which will be much more difficult to deal with.

In trading terminals located on the Ark, you can purchase basic sets of weapons and armor.

To interact with an object you need to approach it at a distance at which the inscription “Press E” appears above the object and press the Latin key “E” on the keyboard.

Solving the problem with Alt+Tab. When pressing this combination, the game no longer opens or freezes for some players. But there is a way out of this situation: we make the game in windowed mode, then press the Alt+Enter combination making the game in pseudo-windowed mode. Let's enjoy the game.

Loss of control. This is a known bug in the game, but there is a way out, to do this you need to press Esc twice and you can continue playing again.

Quality of things. Almost all the items that you find in the vast game world of Project Genom are divided into six categories: junk, common, upgraded, rare, collectible and legendary. The quality of the item will be indicated by its name, as well as the color of the icon.

Comparison of items. Very often there is a need to compare the characteristics of two objects of the same type. In order not to copy all the values onto a piece of paper, the game has implemented convenient tools for comparing two things in your inventory.

On the right side of the window, the characteristics of the item that the hero is currently wearing will be shown, and on the other hand, the item with which you want to compare. After a short analysis, the characteristics on both sides may turn red or green.

Indicators that are inferior in comparison will be marked in red.

Green - winners.

Those indicators that are equal in value will be marked white.

The armor comparison is based on the following parameters

1.Type of armored suit. In the future, only a fully assembled suit of a specific type will provide the character with a number of sustainable bonuses.

2.Number of armor points. The character will receive this amount if he puts on this element of the armored suit.

3.Number of shield points. The character will receive this amount if he puts on this element of the armored suit.

4. Energy release. Characterizes the amount of contact energy that will be released when an element of the armored suit is worn. In the future, contact energy will be used to activate character skills. That is, the choice of armor elements will directly determine how often the player will be able to use skills.

5.Weight. In the future, running speed will depend on the class of armor equipped and the total load the character carries.

Weapons are compared according to the following parameters

1.Weapon type. Whether it is light or heavy.

2.Type of damage. Kinetic, Laser Plasma.

3.Speed. A conditional indicator that allows you to numerically estimate the rate of fire from this type of weapon.

4.Crit multiplier. How big a critical hit will be from this weapon.

5.Firing range. The maximum gaming distance at which this weapon can be used.

6. Store volume. How many shots can be fired before the weapon needs to be reloaded?

7.Recharge speed. The character will be busy reloading his weapon for that long.

8.Scatter. A relative measure of how far bullets can deviate from the center of the aiming point.

9.Energy intensity. In the future, this value will show the amount of contact energy that can be accumulated by the weapon to use active skills.

10.Weight. In the future, running speed will depend on the class of armor equipped and the total load the character carries.

Will it be possible to exchange items with other players?

Yes, according to the developers, this functionality will be implemented. At the same time, the creators of the game admit that this decision could lead to the emergence of shadow trading. If the fact of trade or complicity in this type of activity is discovered, then all those involved will be subject to sanctions.

What languages are available and how to change them

At the moment the game is presented in two languages: Russian and English.

To change the language you can use hotkeys:

CTRL + E - English;

CTRL + R - Russian;

Or use the settings menu (called by the ESC key)

Where and how to download and install the game

You can download and install the game using the Steam digital distribution service. The key required to start the game can be purchased both on Steam and on the official website of the game. Having purchased founders' kits, or “early access kits” as they are also called, you will receive an email with a key that will need to be activated.

Cost and release date of the game

At the moment, the cost of the game on Steam, as well as on the official website, is almost $20. The game is currently in Steam Early Access. This means that you can download and run it now, but it will have many bugs, errors and crashes. It is unknown when the full version will premiere.

Will it be possible to tame animals?

Yes, similar functionality will be implemented, but it will have some restrictions and rules. Firstly, in order to tame an animal, you need to reach a certain level of the corresponding skill. Secondly, bosses cannot be tamed.

Why do we need pets?

In the Project Genom game, animals do not act as mounts, that is, they cannot be ridden as in most MMORPGs, but they still bring benefits. Firstly, pets will help the main character in battles, will be able to carry/carry the character’s luggage, and can also be used as a messenger to deliver the necessary items to the right place.

Will there be character/pet customization?

Of course. Characters, as well as tamed animals, can be customized by wearing different outfits and pieces of armor. You can freely change their names as well as their behavior. The authors of the project also promise that in the future it will be possible to carry out various experiments on animals, creating various hybrids (ala Frankestein).

Will there be two-seater vehicles?

Yes, they will. Moreover, the developers promise the appearance of vehicles capable of carrying more than two people, although when this will happen is not reported.

How will battles take place in space?

Space battles will be conducted in the same way as they are conducted on the surface of the planet, that is, a non-target system. Controlling a ship will not be much different from controlling a vehicle moving on the surface of the planet.

Will there be PvP battles in outer space?

Yes, there will be sectors in space where attacks by other players are allowed.

How detailed will the character editor be?

Complete freedom! You will be able to manually sculpt the appearance of your character by increasing/decreasing, stretching/flattening various areas on the body and face. The first version of the editor will only allow you to change the face. In some future we plan to add the ability to change the visual parameters of the body.

Will there be a significant difference between modes of transport?

Each type of transport will have its own + and -. The player himself will decide what is optimal for him in a particular situation. For example, flying into the thick of battle on a light ATV will be the same stupid decision as trying to quickly cross large spaces on a heavy buggy. Each vehicle has its own use.

How to trade with vendors and traders

To start trading with an NPC merchant, you must first find him. All merchants are indicated by a special icon on the map. Having entered into a dialogue with them, you must select a special action at the top of the dialogue window. Next, the trading window will open. Perhaps the merchant offers some specific type of goods, so you will have to click on the tabs to find what he sells. There are no boundary conditions for trade. You can sell anything (if it is possible to sell) to anyone and not worry that only an armorer will buy armor, and only a herbalist will buy herbs.

What is a syndicate and how to create one

A syndicate is the union of players into a single team in order to gain access to game events, as well as for more efficient leveling. In other words, this is a players guild.

In order to create your own syndicate you need 10 thousand credits. If you have this amount, then press the “O” key, and then “Create a Syndicate”.

Immediately after the character of the game Project Genom climbs out of the vent, he finds himself on a huge station called the Ark.

The Ark is a fairly well-established location. It's clear that the Project Genom developers spent a lot of time polishing this area. In general, there are no special bugs or lags in the Ark. Outside the ark, you will encounter poor optimization, strange invisible textures that make it difficult to move smoothly on the roads (you have to constantly jump), and the like. But making complaints about the alpha version in early access is, to say the least, ridiculous...

There are an incredible number of tasks in the Ark. Some can be completed immediately after they are received, some can be taken, but will have to be completed later, because the level is not very suitable, and some are available after level 15.

You interact with characters and objects of the game world using the E key. Some actions are performed instantly, others take a certain time - a bar indicates their degree of completion.

In addition, for some quests you will have to look in the inventory on the last tab - there are quest items that can be inspected and used. They allow you to complete or receive a new chain of quests.

The main problem of the game is the gigantic (simply monstrous!) distances that must be overcome to receive or submit tasks - first in one direction, then back. Items or characters needed for quests are not always indicated on the map. If you don’t use the guides that appear, for example, in a group on Steam, then you will get tired of looking for the item you need. It is impossible to guess that he is right here, and not three kilometers to the right.

The tasks themselves are, in general, quite traditional - find, bring, talk. True, they are furnished, in my opinion, more interesting than in Asian MMO games. Story quests are required to complete, additional tasks, which entrust you with NPCs can be ignored. They will simply glow in the list of available quests. The third type of quests is given randomly - you need to stand near some object (door, car, etc.) and after a few moments receive the quest.

In general, tasks may not be completed at all. And use the classic grinding scheme. Find a clearing with mobs and hang out there as much as you like. There are not very many people in the alpha version, so there is no competition. By the way, many players do this - they aggro mobs and thus upgrade their weapons and armor.

When completing tasks in Project Genom, you often encounter mobs. In many cases they are several levels higher than your character. If in many other online games, there are no special problems beating mobs 4-5 levels higher. Here, a meeting with such mobs is often fatal. Yes, there is a kind of bug that will allow you to beat such mobs - you just need to move back and the mob does not attack your character, but moves behind you. But this is terribly tedious and requires a lot of patience.
