We lived in a standard room (don’t chase a side view of the sea - there is none (view), because the hotel is quite far from the sea, although this is the conditional first line). The room is really small. With a bed for my daughter, there was no room for either a dresser-dressing table or a coffee-tea table. The bathroom only had a shower tray and a cheap PVC curtain, because of which the entire floor was still covered in water. The bed is changed every day, which is probably a sign of 4* super, but it would be better if they installed a normal refrigerator, otherwise you won’t be able to put your own bar in this place, and there’s no point - it didn’t cool down below 18 degrees, and neither did the air conditioner , which you regulate or don’t regulate, will not quickly inflate coolness.
The hotel is very expensive good place- right behind the Grand Hotel, quiet, green area. At the same time, the resort center is a 5-minute walk through Fellini Park (a nice little square). Nearby is a port and a large Ferris wheel, a children's mini-park (my daughter loved the trampoline), and a rope park (really challenging, for children over 12 years old).
If you take HB they will give you vouchers for the beach. But for some reason they only gave 2 euros for three people, and an additional sun lounger was 5 euros. The beach is gorgeous, but there are actually 30 rows of sun loungers on it, and vouchers give you the sun loungers farthest from the sea. By the sea - for those who pay cash. Sea. Miscellaneous. There were days when there was a lot of algae floating around, and there was a lot of foam and mud. There were days when it was very clean and pleasant. Breakfast is the usual: mushroom omelet, regular omelet, sausages, bacon, sausage or prosciutto, stew, vegetables, porridge, yogurt, muesli, watermelon-melon, cookies, pies. Good things include lightly salted fish, freshly squeezed juice and coffee (super!). Our people are buying free champagne. The set is the same every day. Dinner. Here, as they say, it comes down to taste and color. In short, for dinner there is a buffet with appetizers, sometimes you can only eat what is there, sometimes there is nothing to take. And in advance (the day before) you order 2 dishes from the list of 4+4 dishes. And here you have to rely only on the composition of the products, and you’ll know what it looks like and taste when it’s delivered. Dinner starts at 19.30 and you wait for the waiters until they get to your time. The waitresses really run around, but the owners save money on them or something. Once we sat waiting and eating until 22.00. With these dinners, considering that you have to arrive at the hotel, the whole evening is wasted, and you eat quite late. Water, coffee, wine still cost money, wine is a bit expensive at the hotel. It’s much easier, without paying for dinner, to go to cafes when it’s convenient, and eat what you want and like. Lunch boxes are not provided on excursions. They let you into the dining room where you can only eat sweets: cookies and pies, drink coffee and juice. ALL. There were eggs, but it was some kind of joke: they were raw, and there was no water at all in the egg cooker. But at 4 am, when you get up in Rome or Venice, you still don’t feel like eating.
In short, if you are not old and lazy, or with small children: choose a hotel away from the sea, go to eat in cafes (don’t take steaks, but local cuisine not very expensive), well, you’ll walk 15-20 minutes to the beach, but there’s a chance to get bigger rooms, and the sea and excursions are the same for everyone.
