I thought this card would help me save even more. But when I came home and began to understand the rules of the program, I found out the following:

1 . Accrual of points.

It's simple - for every purchase Fix Price promises to give you 5% in the form of points, which you can then use to pay.

Example:

My check is for 165.6 rubles. I got 8 points. We check 165.6*5%=8.28. Round down. We get - 8.

Everything seems great, but there are SO MANY tricks in this program:

✔ Paid card – 50 rubles. It doesn’t seem like much, but in many retail chains the buyer receives such cards for free. For the card to pay off, you need to make purchases worth 1000 rubles.

✔ Points are awarded NOT from the moment you purchase the card, but from the moment you register on the site! That is, the receipt in which the card was purchased is not covered by this program.

✔ Points are awarded only for purchases worth at least 150 rubles. This is not at all clear. It often happens that you need to buy something as a small thing, but you won’t be awarded points for the small change.

✔ Points are not credited immediately, but after half a month.

✔ You can only pay 50% of the purchase amount with points. 1 point = 1 ruble.

✔ Points are valid for 180 days.

✔ Points are not awarded when purchasing alcohol, energy drinks, or tobacco products.

✔ THE MOST IMPORTANT – the program ends on 08/31/2017. That is, from mid-August it is pointless to use the card (the points will not have time to be credited to your account).

✔ changes have been made to the rules. The program is now valid indefinitely - until the decision of the organizer! (Clause 3.16 of the rules). But an uncertain end date is not so good. The program can be terminated at any time.

For some reason, Fix Price will collect data about your location! For what? I have never seen anything like it! Very strange.

3. Prize drawings.

The personal account even contains the names of the “lucky winners.” But to be honest, I had doubts. For example, the date of the draw is not indicated anywhere! In the “Smartphone Owners” section, the card numbers of the “winners” are listed not in order, but mixed up. It’s also somehow strange - you need to track with your eyes to see if you have your number.

It is curious that the number on the card consists of 9 digits, then separated by 4 more digits. And in the list of card numbers of the “winners” it is not clear which last 4 digits of the cards we are talking about.

4. Other features of the program rules.

Just for fun, I read the rules of their program in full. Here's what else I saw that was interesting for me:

The card can be returned within 14 days after receipt (clause 4.5). In this case, the cost of the card is not refunded, and accumulated points are not compensated (clause 4.12).

You can only accumulate 1000 points! If you have more points on your account, you will be given only 1000 (clause 5.6.2)!

If your check is for more than 5,000 rubles, no points will be awarded (clause 5.6.3)

If the check is in the amount of 4,000 to 5,000 rubles, only 200 points will be awarded! (subclause 1 of clause 5.6.3)

No more than 800 points can be awarded per week

I don't think the program will bring any significant benefits.

Since the program has been extended, I no longer consider it completely unprofitable. If you often visit this store, the card will be useful to you!
