We went to Tenerife for the first time and chose the H 10 CONQUISTADOR 4*. We weren't wrong! We did not have a single complaint or a single problem. The only thing that might confuse you is appearance hotel. The building is ordinary, gray, eight-story, looks in the style of the 80s, a little hurts the eye against the backdrop of two or three-story modern multi-colored hotels. Inside the hall there is a marble floor and a flowerbed in the spirit of " winter garden" The appearance of the Conquistador is probably his only drawback. Having read in advance that the hotel was built in 1984, we did not pay any attention to this. It can be seen that the hotel was very good at one time.
The hotel has beautiful views of the pool and ocean. A good location on the first line 200 meters from the beach is also a plus for Conquistador. It is very convenient that the hotel has its own access to the embankment: there is no beach there, but because of the boulders located far in the ocean, there are very beautiful waves. To the nearest nice beach- 10 minutes on foot.
We didn’t swim in the pool, we didn’t have time, and we’re not fans; it’s easier to go to the beach.
Our room was quite comfortable: with air conditioning, a balcony, a minibar, a safe (albeit for a fee), a TV, a telephone and a hairdryer! (for me, as a girl, this is important). There were no problems with water. Towels and linen were changed three times a week.
Among the vacationers there are many Germans and Englishmen. There is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception.
The excellent cuisine of the four-star hotel fully satisfied our gastronomic desires.
The choice of dishes is huge and varied. For breakfast they serve champagne (drink as much as you want), a lot of fruit: watermelons, melons, pineapples, peaches, bananas, apples, oranges.
During dinner, drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are paid (the waiter notes what you order and you pay the bill upon leaving), a wide choice meat dishes: pork, beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, lamb; fish. There are ready-made dishes, or you can grill your favorite piece of meat or fish yourself. The grilled dishes changed every day: excellent lamb, excellent king prawns, meat and fish. Large selection fresh salads, desserts and ice cream. You can try all this in one evening. We took breakfast and dinner and that was enough for us. The hotel met all our expectations and probably even exceeded them!!!
Every evening after dinner there was animation. I remember one evening there was dancing, another acrobats. Quite normal, although I’m not a fan of such shows, but I even watched a couple of numbers.
The hotel justifies its 4 stars, the price-quality ratio is simply excellent. I recommend an excellent four in a convenient location with good cuisine!
