Namaz for men

To read the prayer you will need to do the following:

  • prepare clothes and body for this ritual (namaz is performed only in clean clothes);
  • memorize the sura, which is called “Al-Fatiha”;
  • stand while performing namaz facing the direction where Mecca is located.

Namaz for women

It is important for a woman to clarify whether she can perform namaz. In that case, there are no prohibitions for pregnant women. They can read a prayer while sitting and even lying down if the pregnancy is difficult. A woman during her period, postpartum and with gynecological diseases accompanied by bleeding is prohibited from performing the ritual. In these cases, the woman is considered unclean.

Before the ceremony, a woman needs to perform a small ablution of her face, legs to the ankles and arms to the elbows, and also wipe off the nail polish. Women are allowed to perform namaz in the mosque, in a special women's hall, and also at home. The order of reading the prayer is identical for both women and men.

How to learn to do namaz?

Those who have just accepted the Muslim faith will be able to learn how to perform namaz by watching how other Muslims do it. Over time, the process of reading a prayer can be brought to automaticity. If you are learning to read namaz in a mosque, then it is not at all necessary to repeat all the words of the prayer after other Muslims. To do this, just repeat the word “Amen” at the end.

What is the best position to sleep in?

  1. You need to stand facing Mecca and repeat all the actions of Surah Al-Fatiha while reading the prayer. It is important to read aloud in order to hear yourself. The letters of the sura must be spoken without the slightest distortion.
  2. Those who have already begun to study Surah Al-Fatiha and know at least one surah by heart need to repeat it several times. This is necessary to pronounce the same amount of text as when reading the entire sura aloud.
  3. If you have not yet been able to learn and read the surah according to all the rules, then when performing namaz you can read one of the parts borrowed from the Holy Quran. In this case, the passage cannot contain less than 156 letters.
  4. To perform prayer without knowing Surah Al-Fatihah or parts of the Holy Quran, you can only recite the words used to remember Allah. They are also called dhikrs. Alternatively, you can recite the following dhikrs: “Subhana-llah, wa-l-hamdu-li-llah, wa-la-ilaha illa-llah, wa-llahu Akbar.” Translated, it will sound like this: Allah is omnipotent, there is no god but Him, Praise be to Allah.
  5. In case you cannot recite any of the above by heart, you can simply say “Allahu Akbar” 20 times. For those who cannot read anything, you can stand silently for the time it takes to read Surah Al Fatiha.

On average, beginners take from one to two weeks to learn prayer. This time is enough to study Surah Al-Fatihah at a calm pace. Many people have difficulty reading prayer at the initial stage.

There is nothing wrong with the fact that at first you will read only a few dhikrs to Allah. With the right approach to studying the surah, within a month you will be reading prayer without hesitation.

The following video will help you learn how to do namaz.

The one who is going to read the prayer must be undefiled, that is, he must have a complete ablution and a small ablution. If you don’t have it, you can’t read namaz. Also, the conditions of prayer must be met. Only after this can the woman and man stand up for prayer.

Video training on reading prayer for women

This video, inshaAllah, will help you understand what is done and how. Detailed text description below.

Our main task is that beginner women can learn to read prayer. It is for them that we tried to briefly and clearly write the order. There is the necessary minimum, one might say. And for those who want to learn more about the subtleties, we have hidden additional information in “more details”.

Namaz for a beginner woman of 2 rakats

The morning Fajr prayer consists of 2 rak'ahs. Another two-rakt prayer is used in additional prayers. How to properly perform a prayer of two rak'ahs for a woman? The rules for performing this prayer are the same for all Muslims. The only thing that differs is only the positions of the hands and feet in prayer. To perform namaz correctly, women need to know not only how duas and surahs are pronounced in Arabic, but also understand their meaning. Below is a diagram of how to perform the prayer with a translation of the meanings into Russian. It is advisable to learn the reading of surahs and duas with an Arabic teacher or listen to the correct audio playback. The correct pronunciation of words is very important. In order for a beginner woman to be able to perform prayer, the Russian alphabet is used when writing surahs and duas, but unfortunately, such writing does not convey the correct pronunciation.

Before you start reading, you must fulfill some conditions: the body and place of prayer must be clean, cover all shameful places, face towards Mecca (qibla) and have the intention of performing a specific prayer. The time for reading the prayer is strictly defined. Never at noon, at the time of sunrise and sunset.

Stand facing Mecca (can be determined by the compass), with your feet slightly apart. Looking at the place of prostration - sajd, indicate your intention to perform namaz and say words that exalt Allah. At the same time, raise both hands with open palms and closed fingers to ear level (), with open palms and closed fingers to chest level ().

Place your right palm on top of your left and place your hands just below the navel (men), at chest level (women). Read, standing, without lowering your hands, the prescribed prayers, suras.

Make a hand bow with the words “Allahu Akbar.” Men lean forward with a straight back at an angle of 90º and place their hands with their fingers spread on their knees. Women lean forward with their knees and back bent, and place their hands on their knees with their fingers closed. Read the prescribed prayer without straightening up. Stand up straight and say “Allahu Akbar.”

Next, bow to the ground - sajdah. Say the words “Allahu Akbar”, touch the floor with your knees, then your forehead and nose. The head should be between the hands, eyes open, legs not. Read the prescribed prayer. Say “Allahu Akbar” again and lift your forehead off the ground. Sit on your left heel, (the right leg remains bent (women fold their legs under them and sit on the ground), fold your hands, say the words “Subhan Allah.” Then, with the words “Allah Akbar,” make another sajdah - bow to the ground.

With the words “Allahu Akbar” stand up, lift your head off the ground, place your hands on your hips and lift your knees off the ground. The first rak'ah is over.

Repeat the rak'ah the prescribed number of times. Finish the last rak'ah by sitting and make "Salaam": turn your head to the right, your eyes should look at your shoulders, say "As-salaam "alaikum wa Rahmatul-lah", do the same to the left. The prayer is over.

Taking the path of faith and righteousness is a serious step for many people. If you are a Muslim, then according to religious customs you must pray five times daily -.

Instructions

Remember the number of rak'ahs for each namaz A. This is the order of words and actions in prayer. In every namaz The number of rakats varies. In the first prayer you need to perform 2 rak'ahs. In the second, third and fifth - 4 each. In the fourth namaz, Maghrib, you need to make 3 rak'ahs. You can learn more about the text of the prayers from the holy book of the Koran.

Wajib are also obligatory prayers, failure to perform which is usually equated with sin. But opinions about their obligatory nature differ among different sects of Islam. At the most extreme point of view, if there are five obligatory prayers, then all the rest are voluntary.

Wajib prayer often includes the Witr prayer, performed in the interval between the Isha and Fajr prayers, most often in the last third of the night. As well as the Eid prayer, performed in the morning on - and Eid al-Adha. Although many theologians classify Eid as fard prayer.

Sunnah - additional voluntary prayers. They are of two types: those practiced on a regular basis and those practiced from time to time. Refusal of the Sunnah is not considered a sin.

Well, nafl - exclusively voluntary supererogatory prayers. You can perform them at any convenient time. Except for the moments when namaz. These are the moments of true noon, sunrise and sunset. The ban appears to be related to preventing the practice of sun worship.

Order of prayer

Each prayer includes a different number. Rakat - performing prescribed movements and pronouncing words addressed to God (Allah).

Namaz is read at a certain time. Before praying, a Muslim must cleanse himself, i.e. perform ablution. It is not recommended to perform prayer in clothes with images of animals and people. While reading the prayer, one must not be distracted by carnal and other needs.

One of the important features in performing this ritual is the direction of the person praying. The fact is that the body and gaze of a Muslim must be turned strictly in the direction of the Kaaba, i.e. to the Holy Mosque located in Mecca. A Muslim is obliged to know Mecca, even if he prays far from his country or even on another continent. Certain guidelines help him in this.

Muslims living in different countries, say their prayer in the same language - . However, this does not mean that it will be enough to simply memorize incomprehensible Arabic words and pronounce them. The meaning of all the words that make up the prayer should be clear to anyone reading it. Otherwise, the prayer will lose all effect.

In principle, the reading of this prayer does not differ much between men and women, but there are some peculiarities here. Men performing namaz must ensure that their shoulders, as well as part of the body from the waist to the knees, are covered with clothing. Before starting to read a prayer, a Muslim must clearly say its name, then raise his hands to the sky, bent at the elbows, and say: “Allahu Akbar.” After the glory of Allah has been expressed, the person praying is obliged to fold his hands on his chest, covering his left with his right hand, and say the prayer himself.

Men don’t have to pray loudly, just moving is enough. After reading the prayer, a Muslim man must bow from the waist, keeping his back straight, and again say: “Allahu Akbar.” After this, they need to bow to the ground: the man first touches the ground with his fingers, and then with his forehead and nose. In this position, he must once again pronounce the words of glory to Allah.

Reading by women has its own characteristics. The main thing is clothes. A woman praying should only have her face and hands exposed - nothing more! In addition, when performing a bow from the waist, women are not recommended to keep their backs as straight as men do. After bowing to the ground, you must sit on your left leg and point both feet to the right.

How women perform namaz

Namaz is an order of Allah Almighty. The Holy Qur'an reminds us of the obligatory nature of prayer more than a hundred times. The Koran and Hadith-i Sharifs say that prayer is obligatory for Muslims who have intelligence and have reached maturity. 17th and 18th verses of sura " Room» « Praise God evening and morning. Praise be to Him in heaven and on earth, at nightfall and at noon" Surah " Bakara"Verse 239" Perform holy prayers, middle prayers"(i.e. do not interrupt prayers). The tafsirs of the Koran say that the verses that talk about remembrance and praise are reminiscent of prayers. In verse 114 of Surah “ Hood“It says: “Perform prayer at the beginning and end of the day and at nightfall, because good deeds drive away evil ones. This is a reminder for those who reflect."

Our Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassalam) said: “Allah Almighty has made the daily five-fold prayer a fard for his slaves. For correctly performing ablution, ruku (bow), and sajdah (bow), during prayer, Allah Almighty gives forgiveness and bestows enlightenment.”

Five daily prayers include 40 rak'ahs. 17 of them are in the farz category. 3 wajibs. 20 rak'ahs of sunnat.

1-Morning prayer: (Salat-ul Fajr) 4 rak'ahs. The first 2 rak'ahs are sunnah. Then 2 rakats of farz. 2 rak'ahs of sunnah morning prayer very important. There are scholars who say that they are Wajib.

2-Noon prayer. (Salat-ul-zuhr) Consists of 10 rak'ahs. First, 4 rakats of the first sunnah are performed, then 4 rakats of farz, and 2 rakats of sunnah.

3-Pre-evening prayer (Ikindi, salat-ul-Asr). Only 8 rak'ahs. First, 4 rakats of sunnah are performed, after which 4 rakats of farz are performed.

4-Evening prayer (Aksham, salat-ul Maghrib). 5 rak'ahs. The first 3 rak'ahs are fard, then we perform 2 rak'ahs of sunnah.

5-Night prayer (Yatsy, salat-ul Isha). Consists of 13 rak'ahs. First, 4 rak'ahs of sunnah are performed. Followed by 4 rakats of farz. Then 2 rak'ahs of sunnah. And finally, 3 rakats of Witr prayer.

Sunnat for pre-evening and night prayers from the category Gair-i muakkada. This means: at the first seat, after Attahiyata, read Allahumma sally, Allahumma barik and all duas. Then we get up for the third rak’ah, read “Subhanaka...” The first sunnah of the midday prayer is “ Muakkada" Or a strong sunnah, for which a lot of thawab is given. It is read in the same way as farzas; in the first sitting, immediately after reading the attahiyat, you need to get up to begin the third rak'ah. Having risen to our feet, we continue the prayer, starting with bismillah and al-Fatiha.

For example, the sunnah of morning prayer reads like this:

1. Intention (Niyat)
2. introductory (Iftitah) takbir

A woman must be covered from head to toe so that her figure is not outlined. Only the face and palms remain open. He doesn’t raise his hands to his ears like men. Hands are raised to the level of the chest, an intention is made, takbir is made, hands are placed on the chest. The prayer begins. Pass through the heart " I intend, for the sake of Allah, to perform 2 rakats of the sunnah of today’s morning prayer, towards the Qibla" Then the takbir is pronounced " Allahu Akbar“When women fold their hands, they do not clasp the wrist of the left with the fingers of their right hand, but place their hands on their chest, placing the palm of their right hand on the hand of their left. Joining your hands on your chest.

Qiyam, standing in prayer. Without taking your eyes off the place where the forehead is applied during sajda, a) read “ Subhanaka..", b) after " auzu.., bismillah..» read Fatiha. c) after Fatihi, without bismillah, a short surah (zamm-i surah) is read, for example surah “ Fil».

3. RUKU’U

After zamm-i sur, saying “ Allahu Akbar"make a ruku'u. Women bend less than men. Knees slightly bent. The fingers do not clasp (as in men) the knees. Open palms are placed on top of the knees. Say three times " Subhana Rabbiyal Azyym" Pronounced five or seven times.

Stand up with the words " Sami'Allahu liman hamidahRabbana lakal hamd" The standing after this is called " kauma».

4. Prostration (sujud)

Allahu AkbarSubhana Rabbiyal a'la».

With the words " Allahu Akbar» legs folded at the knees point to your right. Palms rest on hips, fingers in a free position.

AllahuakbarSubhana Rabbiyal a'la" (Sitting between sujuds is called “ jalsa»).

The second ra'kat is performed in the same way as the first.

In Sujudah, say “ Subhana Rabbiyal-a'la" and with the words " Allahu Akbar"get to your feet. When standing up, do not push off the ground or move your legs. First, the forehead is removed from the floor, then the nose, first the left, then the right arms, then the left knee is removed, then the right.

Standing on your feet after bismillah, the Fatiha is read, then the zam-i sura.

After with " Allahu Akbar"is performed ruku'u. During ruku'u, he will lean forward slightly. Without taking your eyes off your feet, say “ Subhana Rabbiyal Azyym».

Stand up with the words " Sami'Allahu liman hamidah", the eyes look at the place of sajda. When fully erect, say “ Rabbana lakal hamd».

Prostration (sujud)

Without stopping on your feet, go to sujud with the words “ Allahu Akbar" At the same time, put in order: a) The right knee, then the left, the right palm, then the left, then the nose and forehead. b) The toes are bent towards the Qibla. c) The head is placed between the hands. d) The fingers clench. e) All parts of the body are pressed against each other and to the floor f) In this position, pronounce “ Subhana Rabbiyal a'la».

With the words " Allahu Akbar» legs folded at the knees point to your right. Palms rest on hips, fingers in a free position. (Sitting between sujuds is called “ jalsa»).

After a short sitting with the words " Allahuakbar", go to the second sujud. In this position, pronounce “ Subhana Rabbiyal a'la».

5. Tahiyyat (TASHAHHUD)

When sitting (tashahudda), women point their legs folded at the knees back to their right. The fingers on the knees are pressed together.
In this provision read sequentially “ Attahiyat», « Allahumma barik.." And " Rabbana atina..»

After reading " Attahiyata», « Allahumma barik.." And " Rabbana atina..", the greeting (salaam) is given first to the right "", then to the left " Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah»

After salam, it is said “ Allahumma antassalam wa minkassalam tabarakta ya zal-jalali wal-ikram" Next, you need to get up and, without uttering words, begin the obligatory (fard) morning prayer. (Because conversations between sunnah and farz, although they do not violate the prayer, but reduce the number of thawabs). This time you will need to make an intention for two rakats of morning prayer: “I intend, for the sake of Allah, to perform 2 rakats of today’s morning prayer, which is obligatory for me, towards the Qibla.”

After prayer, say three times “ Astagfirullah", then read " Ayatul-Kursi"(255 verse of sura " Bakara"), then read 33 tasbih ( Subhanallah), 33 times tahmid ( Alhamdulillah), 33 times takbir ( Allahu Akbar). Then read " La ilaha illalah wahdahu la sharikalyah, lahalul mulku wa lahalul hamdu wa hua ala kulli shayin kadir" All this is said quietly. Say them loudly bid'at.

Then dua is made. To do this, men extend their arms to chest level; their arms should not be bent at the elbows. Just as the Qibla for prayer is the Ka'bah, for dua the Qibla is the sky. After the dua the verse is read “ Subhanarabbika.."and the palms are passed over the face.

In four rak'ahs of sunnat or farzah, you need to stand up after the second rak'ah and read " attahiyyat" In the sunnah prayer, in the third and fourth rak'ahs, the zam-i sura is read after the Fatiha. In obligatory (fard) prayers, the zam-i surah is not recited in the third and fourth rakats. It also reads “ Maghreb» namaz, in the third rak'ah the zamm-i surah is not read. In Uitr prayer, in all three rakats after Fatiha, the zamm-i surah is read. Then the takbir is pronounced, and the hands are raised to the level of the ears, and placed back below the navel, then the dua is read “ Qunut" In the sunnat, those who are gayri muakkada (the sunnah of asr and the first sunnah of ishaa prayers) in the first sitting after the Attahiyat also read “ Allahumma sally.." And " ..barik..»

How does women's prayer differ from men's prayer?

The difference is in the following provisions:

1- When entering prayer, women raise their hands to shoulder level. Then, folding their hands, they do not clasp the wrist of the left hand with the fingers of their right hand, but place their hands on their chest, placing the palm of their right hand on the hand of their left.

2- Not move their legs together when moving to the waist bow position (rukuu). For ruku, bend over less, slightly bending your knees and Not aligning your back and head in a horizontal position. The palms are simply placed on the knees, Not wrapping your fingers around them.

3- When bowing to the ground (sujud), hands are placed on the floor along with elbows and closer to the stomach. The whole body is pressed against the hips and the floor.

4- When sitting (tashahudda), the legs folded at the knees are directed back to the right of oneself. The fingers on the knees are pressed together.

5- When turning to Allah Almighty (supplication, dua), join open palms together and hold them in an inclined position opposite the face.

7- They don’t say the prayer loudly. On holidays, after the obligatory (fard) prayers, the Tashriq Takbirs are said quietly, silently.

What you need to learn in order to start praying

To do this, you need to learn and pronounce from memory in the following sequence:

[ATTENTION! When writing Arabic words and religious terms, as well as prayers and verses, letters of the Russian alphabet are used. The transliteration used gives only an approximate reading of Arabic words, but does not reflect the phonetics of the Arabic language. For correct pronunciation You must seek help from an Arabic language teacher, and if this is not possible, use audio or video materials].

After pronouncing the introductory takbir (Allahu Akbar), one must say:

1) “Subhanaka...”: “Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabarakasmuka wa Taala jadduka wa la ilaha gairuk”

(Glory to You my Allah and praise to You, and blessed is Your name, and there is no other god besides You!).

2) “A’uzu...Bismillyakh...”: “A’uzubillyahi minnash-shaitanir-rajim. Bismillyahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim!

(I resort to the protection of Allah from the cursed (stoned) shaitan. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful!).

3) Sura No. 1 - “ Fatiha»:

“Alhamdulillahi Rabbi-l-‘alamiin! Ar-Rahmani-r-Rahim! Maliki yawwmiddin. Iyyaka na "I'll be wa yyyaka nasta"in. Ikhdi-na-s-Syrat-al-mustaqim. Syrat-al-lyazina an ‘amta ‘alayhim. Gairi-l-magdubi ‘aleihim wa lyaddaaa-lliiiin.”

(Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds! The Gracious, the Merciful, the King on the Day of Judgment. We worship You and ask You to help! Lead us along the straight road, Along the path of those whom You have blessed - not those who are under anger, and not lost).

4) One more short surah or any three verses of similar magnitude.

For example, Short suras:

a) “Inna a” secret kel-kausar. Fasalli li Rabbika vanhar. Inna shaniaka huwa-l-abtar.”

Verily, We have given you plenty! Pray to your Lord and kill him! After all, your hater is scanty (a tailless sheep; a man without offspring (Sura 108 - “Kausar”).

b) “Kul Huwallahu ahad. Allahu Samad. Lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakullahu kufuvan ahad.”

Say: “He is Allah - one, Allah is eternal; He did not give birth and was not begotten, and no one was equal to Him!” (Sura 112 - “Ikhlyas”).

It is also necessary to memorize and recite in prayer from memory:

1. When bowing from the waist (Ruku’u), say three times: “Subhana Rabbi-al-Azym” - (Glory to my Great Lord!).

2. When bowing to the ground (sujud), say three times: "Subhana Rabbi-al-A"laa" - (Glory to my Most High Lord!).

3. When sitting in prayer:

a) “At-Tahiyatu...”: “At-tahiyyatu lillyahi vassalyavatu vattaibat. As-salamu ‘alaike ayyukhanabiyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Assalamu alaina wa alaaa ‘ybadillahi-s-salihiin. Ashhadu allyaaa ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abdu-Hu wa rasuluh"

Salutations to Allah and prayers and best words. Peace be upon you, O prophet, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Peace be upon us and the righteous servants of Allah! I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger).

b) “Allahumma sally...”: “Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Muhammad kema sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun, Majid"- (O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Truly You are Worthy, Glorious!).

c) “Allahumma barik...”: "Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammad kema barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid"- (O Allah! Give blessings to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You gave blessings to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Truly You are Worthy, Glorious!).

d) “Rabbanaa atinaa...”: “Rabbanaa atinaa fiddunyaa hasanatan wa fi-l-ahirati hasanatan wa kyna azab-an-nar”- “Our Lord! Grant us goodness both in our near life and in the afterlife, and protect us from the punishment of fire.” (2: 201)

e) “Rabbanagfirli...”: “Rabbanagfirli wa livalidaiya wa lil mu’minina yauma yakumul-hisaab.”- (Our Lord, forgive us on the day of judgment. Forgive also my mother, my father and all believers).

f) “As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah”(Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah)

A hadith from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: “The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began the prayer after the opening takbir with this doxology: “Subhanaka...”.

[Tirmidhi – Salat 179 (243); Abu Daud - Salat 122 (776); Ibnu Majah - Ikamati-s-Salat 1 (804)].

In a hadith from Ibnu Mas'ud it is transmitted: "The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us: "If any of you makes the Waist Bow (ruku'u), let him say three times: "Subhana Rabbi-al-Azim." And this is the smallest amount. When performing the Prostration (sujud), let him also say three times: “Subhana Rabbi-al-A”la.” And this is also the smallest amount."

[Abu Dawud – Salat 154 (886); Tirmidhi – Salat 194 (261)].

It starts from the moment of dawn and lasts until the sun rises. Morning prayer consists of four rak'ahs, two of which are sunnah and two are fard. First, 2 rakats are performed as sunnah, then 2 rakats are performed as fard.

Sunnah of morning prayer

First rak'ah

Raise both hands, fingers apart, palms facing the Qibla, to ear level, touching your earlobes with your thumbs (women raise their hands at chest level) and say "Allahu Akbar"
, then and (Fig. 3)

With your hands down, say: "Allahu Akbar" "Subhana-Rabbiyal-"aziym" "Samigallahu-limyan-hamidah" speak afterwards "Rabbana wa lakal hamd"(Fig. 4) Then speak "Allahu Akbar" "Subhana-Rabbiyal-Aglya" "Allahu Akbar"

Second rak'ah

Speak "Bismillahi r-rahmaani r-rahim"(Fig. 3)

With your hands down, say: "Allahu Akbar" and make a hand" (waist bow). While bowing, say: "Subhana-Rabbiyal-"aziym"- 3 times. After the hand, straighten your body to a vertical position, saying: "Samigallahu-limyan-hamidah" speak afterwards "Rabbana wa lakal hamd"(Fig. 4) Then speak "Allahu Akbar", perform sajda (bow to the ground). Say a greeting: turning your head first towards the right shoulder, and then towards the left. (Fig. 7)

This completes the prayer.

Then we recite two rak’ats of fard. Fard of the morning prayer. In principle, fard and sunnah prayers are no different from each other, only the intention that you perform fard prayer changes and for men, as well as those who have become imams, you need to read surahs and takbirs aloud in prayer "Allahu Akbar".

Fard of morning prayer

The fard of the morning prayer, in principle, is no different from the sunnah of the prayer, only the intention that you perform the fard prayer changes and for men, as well as those who have become imams, in prayer you need to read Surah al-Fatiha and a short surah, takbirs "Allahu Akbar", some dhikrs out loud.

First rak'ah

Standing, make the intention (niyat) to perform namaz: “For the sake of Allah, I intend to perform 2 rak’ahs of the morning (Fajr or Subh) fard prayer.”. (Fig. 1) Raise both hands, fingers apart, palms towards the Qibla, to ear level, touching your earlobes with your thumbs (women raise their hands at chest level) and say "Allahu Akbar", then place your right hand with the palm of your left hand, clasping the little finger and thumb of your right hand around the wrist of your left hand, and lower your folded hands in this way just below your navel (women place their hands at chest level).
