Location
Ingekum is not a resort in the full sense of the word. In fact, this is a small section of the coast located near the village of Avsallar, although it recently received the status of a city with a population of 2 thousand people. Thanks to its chic sandy beaches Incekum is widely popular among holidaymakers. The resort is famous for its luxury hotels and small, secluded villas. The nature here is incredibly picturesque. The coast is indented with rocky bays with clear, clear water. There are no noisy discos and nightclubs in Incekum, so it is primarily preferred by those who like a secluded family holiday.
How to get there
Geographically, Incekum belongs to Alanya. However, the easiest way to get to the resort is from Antalya, where the nearest airport is located (distance - 110 km, travel time - 2 hours). From there, you will need to take a bus or minibus to Alanya, and then transfer to dolmus, which goes towards the village of Avsallar.
Climate
Just like Alanya, Incekum is one of the warmest resorts on the coast. The resort is located in a subtropical Mediterranean climate zone. It is reliably protected from cold winds all year round by the spurs of the Taurus Mountains, and the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea soften temperature fluctuations. Summer here is very hot, in July-August the temperature rises to +35°C, and in the spring and autumn months it does not drop below +18°C. The holiday season in Incekum begins very early - at the beginning of April. At this time, the air warms up to +21-25°C, and the water temperature reaches +22°C. The “velvet” season begins in September and lasts until mid-autumn.
Winters in Incekum are very rainy. Between November and February, half of the annual precipitation falls, with January considered the wettest month. There are never frosts in Incekum; even in January the thermometer does not fall below +8°C, but, on average, fluctuates between +11-15°C.
Story
Until the 70s of the last century, Incekum was a small fishing village, where local residents earned their living by catching and selling fish. After Alanya turned into a tourist center, nearby villages also began to gradually deteriorate - modern hotels and entertainment venues appeared on their territory. Now Incekum is considered a famous resort, receiving the bulk of its income from the tourism business.
Attractions
There are no attractions in Incekum itself. However, not far from it are Alanya, Antalya, Side, which can always offer visitors an exciting excursion program.
In Alanya you can look at the famous Red Tower - Kizil Kule, the Byzantine fortress and the ancient Tersani shipyard. For those interested in caving tourism, there is also something to do here - the Dmalatash, Phosphoritovaya, Pirates, and Devichya caves experience an influx of extreme sports enthusiasts every year.
The excursion route around Antalya includes a visit to the Old City, Eksi Cami Mosque, Ivli and Kezkik Minarets, as well as the symbol of the city - Hadrian's Gate.
Side also has a lot of interesting things to see, in particular the famous Nymphaeum fountain, the ancient amphitheater and the monasteries of Athena and Apollo.
Beaches
The most famous in Incekum is Cleopatra Beach, which is several kilometers of golden yellow sand. According to legend, it was here that Mark Antony and Cleopatra spent their honeymoon. Its smooth entry and clear water make it ideal for families with children. The beach is surrounded by picturesque vegetation that protects from the hot sun. On the coast there are many cafes, restaurants and various water activities.

Despite the fact that there are practically no entertainment facilities in Incekum itself, all this can be found in nearby Alanya or Antalya. So, during the day with children you can visit the Water Planet water park or the dolphinarium in Alanya, and in the evening go to the Auditorium Open Air Disco - a giant open-air disco.

Mediterranean resort town Inzhekum village(Incecum) is located between Side and Alanya. The distance Antalya - Incekum is about 100 kilometers. Translated from Turkish, Incekum means “fine sand” (ince-fine, kum-sand). Indeed, the wide and gently sloping beaches of this resort are dominated by very pleasant-looking golden sand. The coast itself in this place looks like an arc-shaped lagoon with very picturesque bays, comfortably bordered by pine trees, palm trees, fruit and cedar groves. Thanks to this, the resort is very popular for families with small children. Newlyweds also like to come here for their honeymoon, as the place is truly romantic. The photographs here turn out very colorful, especially against the backdrop of sunsets.
The length of the Incekum resort is about 10 km. It starts from Okurcalar, a village located closer to Side. There are about 30 hotels here, incl. 5 star hotels with large areas. Between Okurcalar and Incekum there is also the Water Planet Deluxe water park hotel. The water park has 24 different slides, a 300-meter rafting course, a 75-meter high bungee and a wave pool. For children there is a special pool with toys, and for adults there is a view terrace.
In Incekum itself there are about 20 more 3-4 star hotels and one of the best 3-kilometer beaches in Turkey, which stretches towards Alanya to the village of Avsalar. When choosing a hotel for a trip with small children, you can pay attention to the 5-star Inсekum Hotel Beach Resort. There are small children's beaches where it is shallow and the water warms up well. And finally, in Avsalar there are about 30 more 4-5 star hotels. By the way, one of the interesting activities in hotels for older children will be walks along the coast on small inflatable boats. You can also go to nearby Manavgat for rafting on a mountain river.
Although this resort is quite young, many new hotels, restaurants, shops and taverns have recently been built here. Nice banana groves stretch along the coast, and therefore the promenade with lanterns in the shape of banana bunches has become a popular place. It is very conducive for romantic evening promenades. In Incekum there are also many shops, shops with jewelry and clothing. And in Avsalar, across the road from the Ozkaymak Incekum 5* hotel, there is a bazaar, cafes, restaurants and a wonderful promenade
Outside the hotels there is a highway along which it is easy to get to Alanya by minibus, the distance Alanya - Incekum is about 25 kilometers and the journey takes about 30 minutes. The cost of the trip is 3-5 liras. In Alanya, it may be interesting to visit the most famous beach in Turkey - Cleopatra Beach (landmark - Ataturk Blvd). Young people are also usually drawn to Alanya - because there are many discos, bars, clubs and shopping centers for shopping. Also, from Incekum, you can go to the ancient city of Side. In fact, this city is an open-air museum with ancient streets, baths, temples and an amphitheater.
